Not gone for good!

The end of October was something else!  I am still recovering from being sick for almost two weeks.  It really put a stop to my regular activities.  I am hoping for a typical November! 

So I missed sharing the October stamp of the month with you.  Here is a card that was made using the Avonlea paper pack, “A Very Merry Christmas”, and the shimmer tape.  LOVE that shimmer tape.  The stamp set has several images that are cut using the Artiste Cricut Cartridge.

Avonlea Scrapbook Workshop

The kids are back to school and now is the time to start scrapbooking those great memories from the summer. If you would like to participate in the workshop, please see the shopping list below. Steam Punk with Avonlea

You can always learn something new, right? You can always create a new “fashion” right? Well I didn’t create steam punk but I learned about it at the CTMH convention. It is the mix of industrial metal with Victorian patterns. That is my definition anyway. So using Avonlea (which isn’t exactly Victorian), and gear and clocks images cut from Artiste, Lalia Harris demonstrated this box for our team time. I love how it turned out. The gear is embossed with silver and the clock face with gold. Although it is hard to see, this is actually a small gift box which was cut on the new Artiste Cricut cartridge. So much fun! I can’t wait to make more!

Avonlea Card Workshop: Thursday August 16th
