Timberline: Celebrate the outdoors

Maybe it is because I am from the Pacific Northwest but I love the paper packet and the outdoor feel it brings.  The patterns accentuate the stories that I have shared through my scrapbooking and cards I have made both on the masculine and feminine side.   Close to My Heart is saying good bye to this paper packet at the end of July or "While supplies last."  If the outdoors "speaks" to you, add this to your paper repertoire before it is gone.

Timberline and Camper Crazy

I wanted to share a couple more of the Timberline artwork pieces I have created and those I received in the art swap for the Spring 2014 idea book. 

I just love the new set called Camper Crazy.  Do you have a crazy camper in your life?  Are you a crazy camper? 

This card was designed by Eileen Rodriguez.  I changed the papers a bit but the design was cut using elements from the Artiste Cricut Cartridge.  The inner card slides out and is perfect for stamping a sentiment across the middle since it will be hidden by the little trailer icon.  One of my favorite pieces of the Timberline kit is the zip strip I used to wrap the card.  It is a camping list...one that I need when I am packing!

Just for "him"

Sometimes I find it a challenge to create cards for "him".  The Close to My Heart Timberline paper packet has opened up creativity inspiration for more masculine cards and layouts.

I will be hosting a workshop on May 30th 7 p.m. to create some masculine themed cards using the Timberline paper packet...and a few surprises too!  Please RSVP by May 20th if you plan to attend.  Workshop fee is $20.  Want a peek at what you will be creating?

It's Hip and it's for Mother's Day

Close to My Heart has created one of the easiest mini albums.  Just add photos, a little personal touch with scraps, and your sentiments to mom for a picture perfect tribute. 

The Hip Pic Album is mini album fits 4x6 photos.  You can decorate the cover to suit your mom and then add photos inside as shown in the video.  So easy.
