For Always Wedding Card

I created this card for our neighbors who were married at the end of September.  It went together super fast with the For Always paper packet and Stickease.  I added Lagoon color highlight as Silver Shimmer trim to dress it up.

Congrats to Walter and Amy!

As a reminder, this is the last catalog cycle for this paper packet.  You can see other items and color highlights here.  It truly is a versatile kit.  If it is one of your favorites, don’t wait too long to order so you don’t miss out.

For Always Large Tag

I was asked to create a piece of art for an Operation Smile auction at the Close to My Heart convention.  What an honor AND scary thing.  I decided to keep it small and work on a decorative tag.  This is about 8 inches in height but was so fun to decorate with bling, ribbon and pearls.  I think the winning bid was $20.  In total, the auction brought in $1271 which will provide 5 surgeries for new smiles.

I created this tag using the Artiste Cricut cartridge, For Always paper packet, Black Glitter Paper, For Always Textiles and a variety of buttons, bling and ribbon.

I used the banner stamp from the Artiste Cartridge stamp set and masked out the Happy birthday words.  Then I added  the “Happiness is…” stamp is from  Floral Happiness.  The versatility of the clear acrylic stamps made this an easy way to get exactly the look I wanted.

Did you know that Close to My Heart gives a portion of the proceeds from every stamp set sold to Operation Smile?  Although I am not good at asking, you can round up your order total and donate the extra to Operation Smile every time.   I am going to work on that this year!

For Always Fabric Flower

Another card created by the talented Kristine Tanase.  I am looking forward to using the For Always Textiles to create flowers such as these for my upcoming cards and scrapbook papers.

Focus on A Friend

I have been doing several workshops this past month with the rolled roses like the one shown here.  I love how it adds a special touch to this card.  Crème brulee is another color that works well with the black and white of For Always.

A Gift from My Heart Tag

This is another piece of artwork I received in the swap I participated in.  The variety of texture in the burlap, quilled paper heart, metal charm and red sparkle come together to create this beauty.  This was also created by Kristine Tanase.

Blessed For Always

This layout is very sweet with the addition of the Smoky Plum color to the black and white of For Always.  She also used the Flair Frame stamp set, Girls Rock stamp set and For Always Textiles and Rosette Ribbon to give lots of texture and dimension.  “Blessed” is cut using the Black and Gray glitter paper and the font from the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge.  I feel Blessed to receive this beautiful layout in the swap!  Thanks Kristine Tanase.

For Always Thank You

I was fortunate to be a participant in a CTMH National swap.  The artwork I received was so beautiful.  I will be sharing this with you throughout the next few weeks AND you will likely see many of these pieces, with a Michele twist, in upcoming workshops.

Home Sweet Home

The February Stamp of the month is Home Sweet Home and has for sentiments that are perfect for a homecoming, housewarming, or hostess gift.  Here I used the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge and cut out the house image in For Always paper.  With my white pigment ink, I stamped the image and then embellished with our new glitter paper and sparkles.  Simple yet elegant.
